How much does it cost to enrol my child in early education?
We are an approved service and offer fee subsidies for eligible families, through the Federal Government’s Child Care Subsidy System.
Our daily fees can vary depending on your Child Care Subsidy entitlements.
As of July 2022, our full daily fees (before subsidy) are:
$125.00/day for children in the Miindala Room (0-3 years old).
$125.00/day for children in the Jaliigirr Room (2-4 years old).
$120.00/day for children in the Dunggiirr Room (3-6 years old).
Are there any other costs?
You’ll also need to pay a $75 enrolment fee (per child), as well as a $60 annual educational fee (per family).
What’s included in my education fees?
These fees include your child’s education and care program, which is delivered by highly-qualified and experienced staff.
They also include:
All meals, which are cooked by a qualified chef and include more than half of your child’s daily nutritional needs. Your child has morning tea, a hearty lunch and afternoon tea. They are provided milk and milk alternatives at morning tea and have access to filtered drinking water throughout the day.
Nappies.
Cancer Council SPF 30+ sunscreen.
Bucket hats.

Can you manage my child’s food allergies or intolerances?
Yes, that’s not a problem! We cater to any of your child or baby’s dietary requirements at our Toormina centre. You’ll need to give us all the details of their requirements, in writing, and in some cases, we might need supporting documents from a dietician or health care professional.
What are your opening hours for early education and care?
We are open from 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. We are closed on public holidays. We close for three weeks over Christmas and New Year to spend time with our own families. We’ll let you know the exact dates towards the end of each year.
How do I enrol my child in early education?

Do you have a waitlist?
Yes. Once you complete the Waitlist Form, we’ll put you on the waitlist and get in touch if a place becomes available, according to our Priority of Access guidelines.
Please be mindful due to increased demand we cannot guarantee your child’s enrolment. We recommend having your child’s name on the waitlist of several services which can be found through Starting Blocks.
If we make you an enrolment offer and you don’t accept, you’ll go back onto the waitlist in the original position.
My child is already at Gamumbi, do I need to enrol yearly?
Yes, if you have a child with us now, you’ll need to re-enrol each year in September to confirm your place at the centre.
During re-enrolment, we’ll look at the places available and contact families from the waitlist according to our Priority of Access Guidelines.
